(L.A.) Liam Murphy, 29, Died on a Bus

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a bus.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Liam Murphy.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Alcohol Effects

RIP LIAM MURPHY (December 18, 1995 – November 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
