(L.A.) Johnny Lopez, 42, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Johnny Lopez of San Pedro, California. Born in Sacramento County.

RIP JOHNNY LEE LOPEZ (April 19, 1983 – November 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
