(L.A.) Philip Barbosa, 48, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Phillip Barbosa, spelling his first name with two L’s.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP PHILIP A BARBOSA (November 1, 1977 – November 7, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday evening.

The decedent was operating a motorcycle that collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Herrick Avenue and Hubbard Street in Sylmar.
