(L.A.) Douglas Mellein, 74, Died in Chatsworth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Douglas Mellein.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
This was a double murder, with the other victim being John “Victor” Henry.
Nathan Abel Augustine, a 51-year-old drug addict, was arrested for this crime on the very same day. He is being held at Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic on four million dollars bail.
