(L.A.) Joseph Simbillo, 49, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Asian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joseph Simbillo.

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
