(L.A.) Pavle Males, 48, Died in Asuza

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a Super 8 motel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Pavle Males, domiciled in Walnut Creek, California.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Acetylfentanyl

RIP PAVLE MALES (April 1, 1977 – November 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday afternon.

The decedent was from Serbia. His body was discovered in the motel room at around 2:00 p.m. though there is speculation he may have died much earlier. Police say there was no indication of foul play.

This turned out to be an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
