(L.A.) Ralph Moody, 42, Died at an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ralph Moody.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
