(L.A.) Nicole Harris, 46, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Nicole Harris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cardiomyopathy and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Combined Effect of Hydrocodone and Diphenhydramine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
