Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Saul Herrera Lopez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Acute Left Epidural Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Injury of Left Middle Meningeal Artery

Cause of Death C: Blunt-Force Trauma of the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent’s mother is asking for financial help to repatriate his body to El Salvador.
