(L.A.) Jason Velasquez, 46, Died in Lancaster

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a Lancaster parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Velasquez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday night.

LASD deputies from Lancaster Station responded to the 300 block of W. Avenue J-2 and Sierra Highway at around 10:16 p.m.
