(L.A.) Spencer Timms, 22, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Spencer Timms.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds of the Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was a student at Cal State Long Beach. He was a California native.

NEWS STORY

Alejandro Iniestra, a 34-year-old resident of Long Beach, has been arrested for stabbing two of his roommates, resulting in one fatality and serious injuries to the other.

The incident happened on October 4, at around 10:38 a.m., in the 1300 block of Temple Avenue.

When police arrived, they found two men with stab wounds to the upper body; one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Iniestra has been booked on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and is being held on $2 million bail.

The motive behind the stabbings remains under investigation.
