(L.A.) Sheila McNair, 50, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sheila McNair.

Manner of Death : Natural

Cause of Death A : Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B : Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition : Hyperlipidemia

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SHEILA MCNAIR (February 10, 1975 – September 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

* As of October 4, the Department of Medical Examiner was reconsidering their initial conclusion that this was a natural death.

UPDATE: The DME finally concluded in late December that this was an accidental drug overdose.
