(L.A.) Daniel Hoag, 44, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Hoag.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Probable Cardiac Arrhythmia

Other Significant Conditions: Ketamine Use; Alcohol Abuse and Fatty Liver

RIP DANIEL HOAG (1981 – September 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday night.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are two men named Daniel Hoag who were born in California in 1981. This is the one who physically looked like an out-of-shape alcoholic.
