(L.A.) Wilson DeLeon Gutierrez, 27, Died in Rowland Heights

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Wilson Deleon Gutierrez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma of Head

RIP WILSON ALFREDO DE LEON GUTIERREZ (August 19, 1998 – September 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent was apparently attacked with a large stick at around 11:00 p.m. in the 18000 block of Colima Road, by Jellick Avenue.

LASD has jurisdiction over the area of Rowland Heights, which is an unincorported community in the county.

The victim’s family in Guatemala is asking for help in having his body repatriated.
