The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dearl Cammell Jr. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Stab Wounds

RIP DEARL JONATHAN CAMMELL (August 15, 1986 – September 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent had a long rap sheet going back at least ten years, including arrests for burglary, grand theft auto, battery, child endagerment, and nunchucks-related offenses. His most recent arrest in the county was by LAPD in June.
