Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Farrell Oso. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP FARRELL ANTHONY OSO (November 10, 1978 – September 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
