(L.A.) Ileana Arce Navarrete, 38, Died in North Hills

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ileana Arce Navarrete.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

LAPD said the shooting happened at around 11:30 p.m. on Orion Avenue near Nordoff Street.

The decedent was of Nicaraguan descent and a mother of two. Social media in Nicaragua claim she was shot more than half a dozen times by her partner Angel Salazar, a Mexican national, after she told him of wanting to separate.
