The decedent was on a motorcyle that collided with a box truck at around 9:45 a.m. on the Golden State (5) Freeway in downtown L.A., north of the Pomona (60) Freeway.

He appears to have an Arabic surname and was of Middle Eastern descent, likely Coptic Egyptian and/or Lebanese.
