(L.A.) Dwayne Crowder Jr., 33, Died in Gardena

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Dwayne Crowder Jr.

Height: 5 feet 10 inches / Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP DWAYNE CROWDER JR. (June 2, 1992 – September 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was apparently lying unconscious in the turnaround area of the Harbor Gateway Transit Center when he was hit by a Metro bus at around 11:30 p.m.

Passengers alerted the driver that the bus had run over a person.

Dwayne Lamar Crowder had arrests for vandalism, reckless driving, and threats of violence between the years 2021 and 2024.
