Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Moises Bernal Jr. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP MOISES BERNAL JR. (November 27, 1992 – August 10, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
