(L.A.) Ricky Sanchez, 30, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ricky Sanchez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP RICKY SANCHEZ (1994/1995 – August 25, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
