Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Decima Reese.

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
