(L.A.) Jesse Weems, 44, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at Grand Park in DTLA.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jesse Weems.

Height: 5 feet 10 inches / Weight: 190 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Carfentanil, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent had an extensive rap sheet going back more than 10 years. Most of his arrests were for drug offenses, battery, vandalism, public intoxication, threats of violence and indecent exposure.

He was most recently cited by LASD in Norwalk on August 12 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
