(L.A.) Henry Brown, 60, Died in a Restroom

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred at a restroom.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Henry Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension; Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
