Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Quetarra Coley.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity
RIP QUETARRA COLEY (April 13, 1989 – August 27, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
