(L.A.) Ruben Ramos, 34, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ruben Ramos. Born in L.A. County.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Difluoroethane is often found in things like keyboard cleaners or spray refrigerants.

Huffing is the name for abusing inhalants—breathing in fumes from products like spray cans or glue—to get a quick high.
