(L.A.) Kurt Armand, 60, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kurt Armand.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease and Poorly Controlled Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
