(L.A.) Mi’Royal Warren, a Baby, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Mi’Royal Warren.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Intrauterine Fetal Demise

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent’s mother was using meth while pregnant.
