Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Michelle Avan.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries and Probable Asphyxia

The decedent was a senior vice president for Bank of America.

In August 2025, he ex-boyfriend Anthony Duwayne Turner, 56, was convicted of first-degree murder, burglary and forcible rape in connection with this crime.
