Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred in a riverbed.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Edgar Silva.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest
RIP EDGAR SILVA (1987/1988 – August 5, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
The decedent was fatally shot on the border of Carson and the unincorporated Rancho Dominguez area.
LASD responded at around 3:30 p.m. to the 2800 block of East Del Amo Boulevard, near Santa Fe Avenue.
