(L.A.) Jesus Rodriguez-Rocha, 56, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jesus Rodriguez-Rocha.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Penetrating Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

LASD said the decedent was shot in the 100 block of South Shipman Avenue. The actual jurisdiction is technically the unincorporated community of South San Jose Hills, which is adjacent to La Puente.

The shooting happened late Saturday night, apparently in front of his entire family.
