(L.A.) Elias Coover, a Baby, Died with Mother

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a White/Caucasian male that occurred at a medical examiner.
The coroner’s office identified the boy as Elias Coover.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death A: Intrauterine Fetal Demise
Cause of Death B: Gunshot Wound

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
The decedent had been about six months inside his mother’s womb when she was shot dead by the baby’s purported father, who then killed himself.
The murder-suicide happened on July 9.
The child was removed from the mother during the autopsy conducted on July 13. They were placed together in the same crypt, and both were released to the mortuary on July 15.
