Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Dawn Medina.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Difluoroethane Toxicity

RIP DAWN MEDINA (February 8, 1980 – July 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
