(L.A.) Luis Munoz Garcia, 25, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Luis Munoz Garcia.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP LUIS ANGEL MUÑOZ GARCIA (July 6, 2000 – July 10, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was found in an alley between 97th Street and Normandie Avenue in South L.A. His family had reported him missing days earlier, after losing contact with him following his birthday celebration. He suppposedly had recently lost more than 200 pounds in body weight.
