(L.A.) Rudy Garcia, 72, Died in a Healthcare Service

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 72-year-old Latino male that occurred at a healthcare service.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Rudy Garcia.

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
