The coroner’s office identified the man as Richard Ware. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Stab Wound of Chest

RIP RICHARD DUBOIS WARE (February 7, 1977 – July 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

LAPD responded to the 3200 block of Riverside Drive at 2:32 a.m. for what apparently had been an argument between two men.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced it would not be filing charges against the suspect who had been arrested for the incident.
