(L.A.) Jose Sosa Beltran, 41, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Sosa Beltran.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
