(L.A.) Ryan Warner, 33, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ryan Warner.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Mitragynine, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 31, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
