(L.A.) Ceresia Richey, 52, Died in an Ambulance

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in an ambulance.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Ceresia Richey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
