(L.A.) John Koo, 34, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as John Koo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Blunt-Force Injuries

Cause of Death B: Fall From Skateboard

RIP JOHN JUNE HOI KOO (August 23, 1990 – June 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at L.A. General Medical Center (LAC+USC).

Service was held at Han Kook Mortuary on June 14.
