Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Santiago Meza Lopez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Stab Wound of Back

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was apparently stabbed by a woman in the wake of a domestic dispute.

LAPD responded at around 10:44 p.m. to 323 North Soto Street, between Cincinnati and Folsom streets in Boyle Heights.

The address belongs to The Silver On Soto apartment community.
