Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jermaine Lockwood.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Cerebral Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: History of Drug Use

RIP JERMAINE LOCKWOOD (January 24, 1979 – May 25, 2025)

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
