(L.A.) Thomas Quon, 47, Died in a Driveway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old male that occurred in a driveway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Thomas Quon and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Asian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP THOMAS JAMES QUON (October 4, 1977 – May 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 31, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
