Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Haley Angel.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Viral Upper Respiratory Infection

Other Significant Conditions: Coronavirus OC43, Human Rhinovirus/Enterovirus, SARS COV 2, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (Nasopharyngeal), and Unsafe Sleep Environment

RIP HALEY ANGEL (June 24, 2024 – May 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The child was about 11 months old.
