Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jorge Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made Tuesday morning.

The decedent was found unresponsive in the center divider of the northbound 710 Freeway near Willow Street in Long Beach. Apparently, he was struck by a vehicle at around 3:42 a.m. Tuesday morning.
