(L.A.) Cesar Navarro, 36, Died at a Freeway Off-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at a freeway off-ramp.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cesar Navarro.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:45 a.m.

The decedent walking on an off-ramp of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway near downtown L.A. when he was fatally injured by a construction van.

California Highway Patrol had responded at around 12:30 a.m. to the westbound freeway at San Pedro Street, where they learned Navarro was hit by the van near the bottom of the off-ramp.
