(L.A.) Chamrong Sok, 52, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Chamrong Sok.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP CHAMRONG SOK (May 6, 1972 – April 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:22 p.m.

The decedent was beaten in a parking lot near Anaheim Street in Long Beach.

In July, police announced they had arrested Thongsay Ky, 58, for committing this crime. In August, they also arrested Brandon Brewington, 36, in connection wtih the assault.
