(L.A.) Phillip Jones, 33, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Phillip Jones.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Acute Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Cause of Death B: Effects of Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine

RIP PHILLIP JONES (December 10, 1991 – April 16, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
