(L.A.) Marcus Cole, 31, Died Outside a Police Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred outside a police station.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Marcus Cole.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MARCUS COLE (July 3, 1993 – April 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:28 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
