(L.A.) Wendy Tobar-Cuellar, 37, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Wendy Tobar-Cuellar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Acetyl Fentanyl, Alcohol, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP WENDY TOBAR-CUELLAR (August 3, 1987 – April 7, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polysubstance overdose.
